Facility and Resource Scheduling

Managing "Capacity Venues"
A capacity venue is an attraction
or ride that is sold based on time slots or sessions and can entertain
a limited number of participants at one time.
Examples might be:
- For Amusement parks, Theme Parks, and Waterparks
- park tours, shows, special events, meeting areas and pavilions for group
events.
- For Museums, Science Centers, Zoos, and Aquariums
- tours, planetarium sessions, large format films, laser shows, special
exhibits and events, daily classes and workshops.
- For Family Entertainment Centers - party rooms,
tables and meeting areas, skating sessions, laser tag sessions, paintball sessions, batting cages, and lessons.
- For Multi-Sport Complexes, Sports Arenas, and Stadiums
- indoor and outdoor fields, seating areas, VIP boxes, and other limited
capacity areas.
In order to
truly manage your capacity venues, each attraction must be viewed and
presented differently than normal ticketed entertainment. At all times,
your staff need to know what the availability is for a given venue, whether
it is for today or for six months from now. They must be able to quickly
and easily schedule individuals and groups into the appropriate sessions
and not overbook. On top of all this, it must be easy, fast, AND it must
flow the same way any regular transaction would.
Gatemaster
does ALL of this. In fact, we at Gatemaster can comfortably say that we
can manage your capacity venues like NO ONE ELSE CAN!
Multiple Calendars
With Gatemaster you can view multiple schedules in real-time right from
the main POS screen - with just a glance! This feature is unequalled in
the industry because not only can a scheduled attraction be displayed
on screen at all times - MULTIPLE calendars for different events or attractions
can be on the screen - all at once!
Easy to Schedule
Touch the screen - you have selected a time slot. One more button and
a ticket will print for that session. With Gatemaster, scheduling attractions
for individuals or large groups becomes a snap! It is the easy and safe
way to avoid double-booking or overselling your capacity! No matter how
many terminals you have or where they are, next door or in another city
via the Internet - all are updated immediately right in front of your
eyes.
Easy to Reschedule
Once an individual or group is scheduled into a capacity venue, making
adjustments or rescheduling your guests is easy to do. Gatemaster makes
rescheduling simple, as individual customers or entire groups can easily
be moved from one time slot to another to accommodate a change in their
schedule. Gatemaster always displays the available capacity for each time
slot before and after rescheduling so you are always informed before making
a change.
Easy to Track
Knowing which customers are scheduled into a capacity venue is simple
to find out too. Simply touch the calendar for the desired attraction,
scroll to the appropriate time slot, and Gatemaster will display the name
of each guest associated with a party or group or will display the name
of the group in attendance. This is an extremely helpful feature for parents
or customers trying to connect with their group. Gatemaster also displays
the names of members and season pass holders in attendance for easy identification.
This attendance "roster" can be printed as a useful tool for class instructors,
tour guides, party hosts, etc.
Gatemaster can
also track this information using individual or group "accounts". Simply
look up a customer's account and view their "itinerary". Each form of entertainment
they have scheduled will be displayed in chronological order on their
itinerary for easy planning of their event. The itinerary for any customer
or group can easily be e-mailed, faxed, or printed directly from Gatemaster
as it is displayed.
